Apply For Help

To qualify for assistance, an applicant must have been a Colorado resident for at least six months in the past year, and must have worked in a creative capacity (as in a direct hand in creating a show) on at least one theatrical production for a credible (adult) Colorado theater company in the past five years. Educational theater programs, performing-arts academies or schools, and all productions staged to create performance opportunities for youth performers fall outside the capacity of the DAF to cover and do not count as qualifying productions. Please consult the DAF’s published Distribution Policy for a rundown of the general eligibility requirements. Whether an applicant qualifies for DAF assistance and what constitutes a credible qualifying theater production is determined by the DAF Board of Directors following a consistent pattern of precedence.
