Colorado photographer Susannah McLeod’s COVID-19 series chronicled in new book: Quarantine Week by Weak

When shelter-in-place orders were issued by the state of Colorado, photographer and actor Susannah McLeod and her wife, fellow actor Chloe McLeod, joined the thousands of people whose livelihoods were impacted by COVID-19. With theaters closed and events on hold, much of the couple’s income was impacted. The Denver Actors Fund is collaborating with Maria Droste Counseling Center’s 60 independent practitioners to eliminate affordability as a barrier to Colorado theatre artists getting immediate mental-health care.

Denver Actors Fund DEAR Fund expires at $100,000

NOTE: The Denver Actors Fund’s DEAR Fund has expired after having provided Colorado theatre artists more than $100,000 in emergency income replacement following the COVID-19 shutdown. The DAF is actively exploring new ways in which it might be able to provide long-term artist assistance specific to the ongoing ban on indoor public performances. Check back for developments.
