Adriana Gonzales: $611

Adriana Gonzales‘I’m going back to school, and I’m so grateful I don’t have to worry about this bill thanks to the Denver Actors Fund’

Who we helped: Adriana Gonzales has been in Colorado’s entertainment industry since 2015 working with immersive entertainment and local theaters. Most recently, she appeared in Firehouse Theatre Company’s play “Charity,” directed by Debra Gallegos, and in “El Espíritu Natural” for Su Teatro, where she also works on community engagement and outreach. “I am passionate about sharing my craft with others, and have worked with students across Denver and Boulder,” said Gonzales, who is also a graduate of  Metropolitan State University Denver.

Her medical story: Adriana’s part-time employment does not allow for full health-insurance coverage, so when it was time for some regularly scheduled medical tests, she was left with $611 in out-of-pocket expenses.

How we helped: The Denver Actors Fund has reimbursed Adriana for her fill out-of-pocket expense, or $611.

‘I’M THANKFUL FOR THE DENVER ACTORS FUND BEING ABLE TO HELP ALLEVIATE SOME FINANCIAL STRESS.’ – ADRIANA GONZALES

A message from Adriana: I’m thankful for the Denver Actors Fund being able to help alleviate some financial stress by helping with this medical bill. Juggling multiple jobs is difficult – and even more so when none offers full-time benefits such as health-care insurance. I’m going back to school, and I’m so grateful I don’t have to worry about this bill thanks to the Denver Actors Fund.”
